Here are some tricks to have a better look for your AK47

materials needed
- a piece of cloth
- varnish ( mahogany brown )
- knife or any sharp oblects
- flat black spray paint
- thin grained sandpaper

Steps:

1. remove the handguard and buttstock of your AK47
2. using your knife or any sharp objects, make cuts on the surface
3. paint it with your spray paint and wait for it to dry
4. use sandpaper to remove some of the paint ( use your artistic skills )
5. wipe of excess dirt
6. put some varnish on the cloth ( use your gloves if you dont want your fingers stained ) and apply on the surface of the handguard and stock
7. wait for it to dry
8. enjoy your work
9. use sandpaper to sand of some paint on the body or barrel of the gun ( sand of the parts that are likely to weather first )
10. install the buttstock and hadguard back.
